Finished both of my final papers. The one for my cataloging class I thought I wouldn’t do too well. The graded copy came in the mail on Friday and I got a perfect score!!! Was I shocked!!
I started on my first project during my 2 week break: stripping wallpaper and painting my second bedroom. Took 3 hours to strip a boarder. What a pain!! I pledge to never put up wallpaper again.
I went with my friend Sonjia tonight to the Jenn Lancaster book talk and signing at the Barnes and Noble at Webster place. There were a whole lot of people there. Jenn said she was shocked at how many people were there. I’m gonna guess at least 100 women. All the copies of her new book Such a Pretty Fat were gone before she even came out, and most of the copies of her two previous books were too. In case you haven’t heard of Jenn, her blog is www.jennsylvania.com. She’s really funny. Sonjia had never heard of her, and while she was talking Sonjia said her life seemed a lot like mine.
There is one thing I would like to know. Why are so many stupid people driving cars in Chicago? They see nothing wrong with stopping in the middle of the street on Fullerton. On the way to B&N there was a semi stopped in the left lane. On the way back to the highway there was a pickup stopped in the right lane. Why do people think it’s ok to stop traffic?
Was that cataloging paper the one that you thought you got a bad score on? I really agreed with pretty much everything that Jen Lancaster said. She cracks me up. I definately want to go to printers row. I think that will be interesting. The only thing different between you and Jen is Fletch. That’s it. Everything else sound like daja vu. I don’t know how to spell that. But you know what I mean.
